The park in Gran Canaria will not only appeal to local residents, but also to international travelers. Additionally, this will increase and complement the current leisure offerings in the South of the island.
Calvin Lucock, Managing Director of Holiday Club Canarias says: “We are all very excited about the imminent opening of the Angry Birds Activity Park in the municipality of Mogán. This new endeavor will certainly add value to Puerto Rico and attract more visitors to the area. Apart from being a significant tourist attraction, it will also serve the local people and create new job opportunities.”
All parks are being constructed by the Finnish Lappset Group – a fast-growing company in design and supply of themed activity centers. “For Lappset the investment of Holiday Club is the largest domestic order so far. In this investment project we will operate as the sole contractor, right from the planning until the execution. This will confirm the company’s position as a supplier of large facilities”, says Tero Ylinenpää, Deputy CEO of Lappset Group Ltd.
“City Golf Europe is proud to be a part of this Lappset project providing design and construction of a 12 hole Adventure Golf course with an Angry Birds theme”, says Peter Hoffman, CEO City Golf Europe AB. He continues “This is the first project together with Lappset and we are sure that other new common projects will follow.”
